Artist Statement: "Experimental" best describes the abstracts and landscapes in this exhibit.  Artist Lois Richter uses a fluid painting technique she calls "Swiped Acrylics"  -- which she created because of her frustration with the 'Poured Acrylics' technique that used lots of paint, dried very slowly, changed even after it was 'finished', and offered little control for creating anything but abstracts.
