Artist Statement: ANN PRIVATEER Most of my life I have been captivated by the idea that Art is making something out of nothing. My first painting experience was tempera paints with my classmates.  At Halloween and at Christmas we painted holiday murals on store front windows. Today, I paint with oils and watercolors.
