Artist Statement

As life can be quite uncertain at times, so can the subject matter of my works, and it is in this uncertainty that I have leaned into in order to find a process of creating work that is very exciting, but also challenging. The works are guided by the initial mark-making, and everything that comes after that is completely related to the marks and also the colors or medium that has been chosen to make the piece.
