Gallery 1855 announces the solo exhibition of mixed-media artist Cathie James-Robinson, running through January. A reception is planned for 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7. She has spent her life creating art, working in all types of media, including painting (with watercolor, acrylic and soft pastels), drawing (graphite, color pencils and ink), sculpture of all types, assemblage and fine-art photography.
