Memorial Day Ceremony
Monday, May 27th 9:30 Davis Brass Ensemble 10:00 Start of the program This years event will include performances by the Davis Brass Ensemble, Davis Children’s Chorale, and the Davis High School Madrigals. Mrs. Carol Kessler will sing the National Anthem and Mr. Francis Eugene Resta will be our keynote speaker. Resta was born July 2nd, 1925 at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. Margaret Eldred Exhibition
Local artist, Margaret Eldred will be exhibiting Mediterranean themed garden paintings, especially gardens from Spain, Morocco, and California, including several from the UC Davis Arboretum. All the paintings show plants that can be locally grown, either natives or other plants that grow in hot, dry climates. Artists open house Sunday, June 9th from 1-3pm. All community members welcome.
