Artist Statements

Amanda Cadelago

I am a painter, working in oil and acrylic paint, as well as chalk pastel. Witha life-long love for art, I pursued and received a bachelor’s in art from the California State University, Sacramento, and a professional associates of art degree in design from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in San Francisco.
After acquiring my degrees, I’ve worked in creative fields including fashion design and graphic design, while still working on my art. I had a piece included in the 2021 and 2022 KVIE Art Auction. I also presented two collections of acrylic landscape paintings at the Artery Davis in 2022 and 2023 and showed a collection of chalk pastel pet portraits at the 2019 RAW Artists show in Sacramento.
