SUMMARY:Veterans Day Ceremony
DESCRIPTION: \nOn Saturday\, November 11\, 2017\, members of the community are invited to honor America’s Veterans and celebrate their contributions to our way of life. The Davis Cemetery District has partnered with the Davis Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6949 to commemorate the veterans of our country with a special ceremony. Dedicated volunteers and Boy Scouts will pay tribute to our fallen veterans by placing flags on their grave sites prior to the ceremony. \nA rousing performance by the Davis High Madrigal Singers under the direction of Karen Gardias will end the ceremony. This special tribute to the brave men and women of our armed services is free and open to the public. All ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.
