DESCRIPTION:   \nArtist Statement: \nKARI UHLMAN  \nFrom the Ancient One – Acrylic Paintings  \nMy degree is in General Design from Cosumnes River College. I like acrylic painting because it is forgiving and one can quickly paint over an unwanted stroke. My courage drives me to create art that promotes peace.  \nGod created things to function in an orderly fashion and He continues to keep things in order.  \nPeople were created out of love for the purpose of sharing love. Relationships and fellowship with the earth\, animals\, and fellow humans are important to Him.  \nThen God said\, “Let us make humankind in our image\, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea\, and over the birds of the air\, and over the cattle\, and over all the wild animals of the earth\, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.” – Genesis 1:26 – 28 \n
