DESCRIPTION:The Yolo County Historical Society will meet at the Davis Cemetery from noon to about 1:30 p.m. Sunday\, April 22\, for a tour of the 168-year-old cemetery. \nThis is the first field trip of the year and open to all residents and friends. The cemetery is adorned with beautiful statues and markers and water-wise gardens. The park-like atmosphere is an ideal location for exploring history. \nBy touring the grounds\, participants will get a unique perspective on how the city of Davis has grown and changed over the decades. They will learn about the city’s founding families and hear the fascinating and scandalous stories that make this history so unique.
