DESCRIPTION:The winter storms and heavy rains have caused the beautiful historic Davis Cemetery District (820 Pole Line Road)  to reach out for volunteers this upcoming Tuesday-Wednesday\, February 14th. Volunteers are welcome to drop in at anytime from 9:30-1:00 pm.  Are you required to perform community service for school? Are you looking for a rewarding activity to do with friends? Do you just want to lean more about the cemetery? Volunteers will be needed to help clean up fallen leaves\, brush and branches\, sweep grave sites and do some light weeding. No training is required. The cemetery will provide you with a list of to do’s and don’t s and can provide rakes and clippers. Volunteers are asked to wear comfortable closed toe shoes and clothing that is weather appropriate. \nTo ensure that we have enough tools and equipment for all volunteers please confirm your RSVP with Kristi Dvorak at cemcod@dcn.org or call at 530-756-7807. \n
