DESCRIPTION:Artist Statement: ANN PRIVATEER \nMost of my life I have been captivated by the idea that Art is making something out of nothing. \nMy first painting experience was tempera paints with my classmates.  At Halloween and at Christmas we painted holiday murals on store front windows. Today\, I paint with oils and watercolors. \nEvery Friday morning\, I attend a watercolor class at the Davis Senior Center.  There’s a local Art teacher each month.  We learn something different from each artist.  I occasionally go on Plein Air painting adventures with YoloArts.  Photography is another outlet that has fascinated me since childhood. \nA bumper sticker says it all\, Earth is just eh without art. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
